This Public Health Nursing program provides free health and safety-related consultation, staff training and referral to child care centers, child care homes, and other group care programs. Training of Child Care Health Consultants is also available through this program.
Suspected or confirmed communicable diseases identified in Pima County are required to be reported to the Health Department.
Periodically, communications regarding important and timely public health information are sent directly to physicians by the Centers for Disease Control, the Arizona Department of Health Services and the Pima County Health Department.
