    The Pima County Human Resources Department is a diverse team of HR professionals who are innovative problem solvers dedicated to providing practical solutions to an organizational system comprised of 54 departments and almost 7,000 employees. Our mission is to provide employee-centric services and solutions that embody our organizational values of being Accountable, Respectful, and Ethical. We envision a workplace where each employee can be their best self, so we can fulfill our duty to provide exceptional public service to the constituents of Pima County. 

    The Pima County Human Resources Department is divided into five (5) divisions, that offer a variety of employee services: 

    • Training and Development; 
    • Administration, Merit System/Law Enforcement Merit System, Compliance, and Reports & Records; 
    • Benefits & Wellness; 
    • Employee Relations, Workers Compensation, Occupational Medicine, Leave Administration, and ADA; and 
    • Classification & Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Recruitment & Selection.
