The Conveyance Division operates and maintains the sanitary sewerage system within Pima County.
Through the use of a computerized maintenance management system the Division provides an extensive, proactive year-round preventative maintenance program, as well as specialized activities including: vector (roach) control, system administration, asset management, capital improvement projects, conveyance rehabilitation projects, inspection, flow management monitoring, pumping system and odor control activities related to Pima County's conveyance system. The public system includes 3,500 miles of sanitary sewer lines, 74,000 manholes/cleanouts and 26 pump stations within a 420 square mile service area.

Vector (Roach) Control Program
The RWRD Conveyance Division manages a Vector (Roach) Control Program, designed to reduce the number of roaches within Pima County. You can help us keep cockroaches out of the sewers and out of your home by bug-proofing your house. The program includes information about eliminating roaches and how to notify us if you would like to request assistance with an on-going roach problem .
