Technical Services and Engineering

The Technical Services and Engineering Division provides wastewater planning, development, engineering, GIS, and records management services. The division has three sections:

• GIS Maps and Records: Manages Wastewater GIS data, maintains sewer connection records and archived wastewater construction plans.
  • Sewer GIS Maps
• Planning Services: Develops capital project charters, facility plan and long-range planning. Maintains capacity allocations, conveyance flow metering systems, and the hydraulic model of the conveyance sewer system. Manages all development processes for new public sewers and new connections to the public system.
• Engineering Services: Review design standards variances, establishes design and construction standards for the public sewer system, provides inspection services for new sewer construction, and provides utility coordination services for utility conflicts with the public sewer.
