Lil’ Reckers
This 6 week program is offered in 4 different sessions throughout the school year, for children ages 3-5 years who are toilet trained. A variety of classes are offered which include activities such as arts and crafts, music, story time, nutrition education, early learning skills, socialization, sports skills, active games, science, and much more.
Parent must accompany the child and remain on premises during the entire program. Additional parent programming may be available at individual sites. Please contact the community center near you for more information.

Registration
Families will need to create a profile in the Active Net system prior to registration.

Locations
Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation facilities are not licensed childcare facilities under section 36-882 of A.R.S. The school-age youth programs are “at will” drop in programs and youth enrolled in the programs may come and go of their own volition.
After-School Program
Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation offers after-school recreation programs at several of its community centers. The program will run from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. at most locations. The after-school program is for children ages 5-12. 5-year-olds must be enrolled in elementary school. Activities include homework help, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, and more. All participants must be registered in the program. Enrollment is limited. The program is free except for some special events. Days and times vary by center.
Summer Recreation
The summer recreation program offered June and July, is for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade in the 2021/2022 school year. Summer recreation program is Monday through Thursday 7:30AM-5:00PM, closed on Fridays; space is limited. Online registration opens Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 6:00AM Arizona Time. Activities include indoor and outdoor recreation, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, guest speakers, field trips, environmental education and more. The program is free except for some special events. Please contact the community center for more information or for dates and times check our online registration.
