    The purpose of this Committee is to: Serve in an advisory capacity to the Pima County Board of Supervisors and to the Manager of the Animal Care Center.

    Members

    Review and evaluate the operations of the Center in order to make recommendations in writing to the Board of Supervisors for the formulation of guidelines to assure that:

    • The Center's operations are conducted in the best interest of the public health and safety.
    • The Center keeps pace with the most modern practices and procedures of animal care and welfare.

    Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02, the PIMA COUNTY ANIMAL CARE ADVISORY hereby states that all notices of the meetings of the PIMA COUNTY ANIMAL CARE ADVISORY and any of its committees and subcommittees will be posted at the Bank of America building, 33 North Stone Avenue, 1st Floor, Tucson, Arizona 85701. The building is accessible to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except legal holidays, and on the Committee website:

    Such notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting and will include an agenda or information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meeting.
