Mar 22, 2022 - Beginning Thursday, March 24, through Tuesday, March 29, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Granite Construction, Inc., will begin lowering utilities on Meredith Boulevard from north of Ina Road to the end of the road, ahead of paving operations. 

Mar 17, 2022 - On Tuesday, March 22, and Wednesday, March 23, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Falcone Brothers & Associates, Inc., will be working on removing and replacing the soil underneath the eastbound and westbound lanes near the intersection of Sahuarita Road and Wilmot Road as part of the improvements to the intersection.  

Mar 16, 2022 - On Friday, March 18, and Monday, March 21, between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Tucson Asphalt Contractors, Inc., will begin paving operations on Belvedere Avenue from Drexel Road to Benson Highway. 

Mar 11, 2022 - On Tuesday, March 15, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Falcone Brothers & Associates, Inc., will be installing conduit for the new traffic signal across the intersection of Sahuarita Road and Wilmot Road as part of the improvements to the intersection.  

Mar 11, 2022 - Beginning Monday, March 14, through Thursday, March 24, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., will be performing road repair work at Limberlost, Prince and Cloud Roads.  

Mar 11, 2022 - Saturday, March 12, through Friday, May 27, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Granite Construction, Inc., will begin paving operations on Roller Coaster Road/Oracle Jaynes Station Road from La Canada Drive to just north of Klamath Drive. 

Mar 10, 2022 - Beginning Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 25, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Granite Construction, Inc., will be performing road repair work at Old Ajo Highway and Tucson Estates Parkway 

Mar 10, 2022 - Starting Wednesday, March 16, through Friday, March 18, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC, will begin paving operations on Hartman Lane from Copperhead Drive to north of Tumacacori Trail/Avenida Tierra Alta 

Mar 09, 2022 - Starting Monday, March 14, through Monday, May 9, 2022, Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Borderland Construction, Inc., will be temporarily closing Brekke Road at Houghton Road in order to construct the intersection.  

Mar 08, 2022 - Wednesday, March 9, and Thursday, March 10, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Granite Construction, Inc., will begin lowering utilities on Camino De La Tierra from Ina Road to Orange Grove Road ahead of paving operations 

Mar 03, 2022 - On Monday, March 7, through Friday, March 29, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Cactus Asphalt, will be applying a pavement preservation treatment to the existing roadway surfaces followed by pavement markings and thermo striping starting March 14, through April 29, at various locations 

Feb 25, 2022 - On Tuesday, March 1, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Falcone Brothers & Associates, Inc., will be milling the intersection of Wilmot Road and Sahuarita Road as part of the improvements to the intersection 

Feb 25, 2022 - On Tuesday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 2, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., are raising manholes to finish grade on Via Rancho del Lago from Colossal Cave Road to Miralago Drive as part of Pima County’s Road Repair and Preservation Program. 

Feb 25, 2022 - Beginning Wednesday, March 2, through Friday, March 11, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC, will be performing road repair work on Oldfather and Massingale 

Feb 24, 2022 - On Monday, February 28, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation will begin shoulder repair work on Picture Rocks Road between Wade Road and Tula Lane. 

Feb 24, 2022 - On Monday, February 28, and Tuesday, March 1, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, KE&G Construction, Inc., will be milling and paving Via Entrada from River Road to 1st Avenue as part of Pima County’s Road Repair and Preservation Program. 

Feb 18, 2022 - Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC extended their hours of operation through February 24 from 6am to 7pm at the following locations: • Lambert Lane from Camino De La Tierra to west of Wild Creek Drive • Cactus Canyon Pass from Thornydale Road to Shannon Road 

Feb 18, 2022 - Starting Monday, February 21, 2022, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Tucson Asphalt Paving & Construction Co., will begin paving operations in the Butterfield Business Center, north of Irvington, between Palo Verde and Alvernon. 

Feb 15, 2022 - On Wednesday, February 16 through Thursday, February 17, Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will be crack sealing Irvington Road from Mission Road to west of Moonlit Saguaro Court, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Feb 14, 2022 - The scheduled work to mill and repave Wilmot Road and Kolb Road has been pushed out to Thursday, April 21 through Tuesday, May 3 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.  

Feb 10, 2022 - Beginning Monday, February 14 through Thursday, February 24, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC will be milling and repaving at the following locations: • Lambert Lane from Camino De La Tierra to west of Wild Creek Drive • Cactus Canyon Pass from Thornydale Road to Shannon Road 

Feb 02, 2022 - Beginning Friday, February 4, Pima County Department of Transportation, and its contractor, Borderland Construction, will pulverize Brekke Road from approximately 300-350 feet west of Houghton Road while the grade for the new road is built up. 

Jan 26, 2022 - On Thursday, January 27 through Friday, February 4, Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will be crack sealing from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at various locations 

Jan 25, 2022 - Beginning Monday, January 31 through Friday, February 18, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, will be performing road repair work on Wilmot and Kolb  

Jan 21, 2022 - Starting Sunday, January 23, Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Borderland Construction, will be installing storm drainage pipes, new curb, catch basins and grading along the shoulder on Houghton Road 

Jan 14, 2022 - On Monday, January 24 and Tuesday, January 25 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Tucson Asphalt Paving & Construction Co., are scheduled to re-stripe on Horizon Hills Drive between Thornydale Road and Starshine Drive 

Jan 13, 2022 - Beginning Monday, January 17 through Thursday, January 20, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., will be milling and paving Via Rancho del Lago from Colossal Cave Road to Miralago Drive, as part of Pima County’s Road Repair Program 

Jan 10, 2022 - Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC will temporarily reduce speed to 25 MPH on Arivaca Road between milepost 5 and milepost 12 

Jan 06, 2022 - Work on temporary traffic control modifications will begin Monday, January 10. The detour along Kolb Road will be necessary for Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, KE&G Construction, to begin installing the roundabout at the Kolb Road and Territory Drive intersection.  

Jan 06, 2022 - Beginning Monday, January 10 through Thursday, January 13 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., will begin milling and paving Colossal Cave Road from Pistol Hill Road to the Colossal Cave Mountain Park entrance. 

Dec 30, 2021 - Beginning Thursday, January 6 through Friday, January 7 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., will be milling and paving Benson Highway Frontage Road, east of Colossal Cave 

Dec 09, 2021 - On Monday, December 13, Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Falcone Brothers & Associates, Inc., will be installing a temporary 4-way stop at the intersection of Sahuarita Road and Wilmot Road, as part of the improvements to the intersection 

Oct 26, 2021 - Beginning Monday, November 1 through Thursday, November 4, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., will be performing milling and paving work on Camino Loma Alta from Old Spanish Trail to Oro Escondido Drive. 

Oct 25, 2021 - On Tuesday through Thursday, October 26 - 28, 2021, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Yeh and Associates Inc., will be completing geotechnical exploration work for a project to improve access to the Marshall Gulch area 

Oct 21, 2021 - On Monday, October 25, the Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, KE&G Construction, will begin waterline tie in work at the intersection of Sunrise Drive and Kolb Road. 

Oct 15, 2021 - Beginning Wednesday, October 20 through Monday, October 25, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., will be performing milling and paving work on Wentworth Road from just south of the I-10 ramps to Sahuarita Road, as part of Pima County’s Road Pavement Repair and Preservation Program. 

Sep 24, 2021 - Starting Sunday night, September 26 through Monday morning, September 27, between the nighttime hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., the Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Borderland Construction and Tucson Electric Power (TEP), will be installing a new conduit electric line near the Pima County Fairgrounds. This work is a continuation of installations for the roadway improvement construction project on South Houghton Road from I-10 interchange to Andrada Polytechnic High School.  

Sep 17, 2021 - Beginning Monday, September 27 through Tuesday, December 21, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC will be performing road repair work as part of Pima County’s Road Pavement Repair and Preservation Program at various locations  

Sep 17, 2021 - Starting Sunday night, September 19 through Monday morning, September 20, between the nighttime hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., the Pima County Department of Transportation, its contractor, Borderland Construction, and Tucson Electric Power (TEP), will be installing a new conduit electric line near the Pima County Fairgrounds.

Sep 02, 2021 - Beginning Tuesday, September 7 through Friday, September 17, between the nighttime hours of 9 p.m. and 4 a.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., will complete final striping operations in various locations  

Aug 20, 2021 - Beginning Friday, August 20, The Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Borderland Construction, will be placing barriers along the west side of Houghton Road from Brekke Road to Dawn Road.  

Jul 20, 2021 - The Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Borderland Construction, will begin the roadway improvement construction project on South Houghton Road from I-10 interchange to Andrada Polytechnic High School.  

Jul 16, 2021 - A full closure will be in place at the Skyline Drive at Sunrise Drive intersection starting Monday, July 19 through Thursday, July 22 for road repair work. Skyline Drive, including turn lanes, will be closed at the intersection and will not be accessible from either westbound or eastbound Sunrise Drive to allow crews safe access to the construction zone.

Jun 17, 2021 - On Monday, June 21 through Thursday, June 24, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation will be refreshing pavement markings on General Hitchcock Highway (Mt. Lemmon) including all pavement lines, stop lines, arrows and “ONLY” legends.

May 26, 2021 - On May 28th, there will be traffic control work on the Bopp Road - Sarasota Blvd at Kinney Road Improvement Project 

May 17, 2021 - Beginning Friday, May 21, between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Granite Construction, Inc., will be performing road repair work on Cardinal Avenue. 

May 17, 2021 - Road repair work on Diamond Bell Ranch Road from State Route 286 to Sierrita Mountain Road starting May 21.  

May 14, 2021 - Beginning Monday, May 17, between 2 a.m. to 2 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and contractor, KE&G Construction, Inc., will be performing road repair work at various locations.  

May 14, 2021 - On Monday, May 17 through Friday, May 21 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving, will begin paving the final lift on Kinney Road. 

May 10, 2021 - On May 12th, paving operations begin on Valley Agency Connect Road Between the Hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM  

May 04, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation will be powering off the Hermans Road and Nogales Highway intersection on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.,  

May 04, 2021 - Starting Thursday, May 6, Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will complete final striping operations at various locations. 

May 04, 2021 - On Thursday, May 6 and Friday, May 7, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., paving operations on Sarasota Boulevard from Sunsplash Road to Sarasota Trailhead  

Apr 29, 2021 - Thursday, April 29 through Friday, April 30, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., various roads will be milled and paved 

Apr 22, 2021 - Road Repair Work on La Cañada Drive from Ina Road to Rancho Feliz Drive starting Monday, April 26 through Thursday, May 6, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. 

Apr 15, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co Inc., will begin milling and paving the outside lanes, starting in the eastbound direction. Traffic will be shifted to the newly paved lanes as they are completed and milling and paving will continue on the inside lanes. One lane of traffic will be open in each direction at all times.  

Apr 15, 2021 - Temporary Closure of Bopp Road at Kinney Road is necessary in order to allow crews to work on the waterline, install concrete, rip rap and place asphalt. Due to the conditions of the work zone motorists should anticipate delays. Motorists may use Donald Avenue or Tucson Estates Parkway as an alternate route.  

Apr 12, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving, will begin paving and striping activities on the north side of Kinney Road on Tuesday, April 13 through Friday, April 16 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Due to the conditions of the work zone travelers should anticipate lengthy delays. Alternate routes are recommended to avoid the area during this work. 

Apr 07, 2021 - Plan brings total FY 2022 road repair funding to $85M 

Apr 02, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving, will begin paving Speedway Boulevard, side streets and driveway. Hours of operations are between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Due to the conditions of the work zone travelers should anticipate lengthy delays.  

Mar 31, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Sunland Asphalt, will be repairing roadway rumble strips on Sandario Road between Golden Gate Road and Kinney Road. Hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Mar 29, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation will be powering off the Kinney Road and Western Way intersection to rewire the traffic signal and controller cabinet. Work is scheduled to be completed in one day. 

Mar 23, 2021 - UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, the schedule has been extended on the River Road from Shannon Road to 15th Avenue paving project. The contractor will continue milling and repaving through Wednesday, March 31, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. 

Mar 22, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will be performing a fog seal treatment at 8 locations. Hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.  

Mar 22, 2021 - , Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will be performing a micro seal treatment from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 3 locations. Hours of operations are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Mar 18, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation will be installing an all-way stop at the Irvington Road and Joseph Avenue intersection on Tuesday, March 23 between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. Please slow down and approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.  

Mar 17, 2021 - The Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving, will begin work to remove concrete header curb at the intersection of Speedway and Painted Hills Road, Thursday, March 18 between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. 

Mar 16, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will be performing a double chip seal treatment from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Melpomene Way and El Camino Del Toro 

Mar 08, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Mountain Power, will be replacing the overhead guide signs 330 ft. north of the intersection on Alvernon Way. Hours of operations between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. 

Mar 05, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation, along with its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving, will begin paving operations Monday, March 8 through Wednesday, March 10 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. along Speedway Boulevard from Painted Hills Road to Camino De Oeste. 

Mar 04, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Sunland Asphalt, will begin milling and paving at the Babad Do’ag Vista Point between Milepost 2 and Milepost 3 on General Hitchcock Highway on Mount Lemmon on Saturday, March 6, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Barricades will remain in place until temporary striping is completed on Tuesday, March 9. 

Feb 26, 2021 - **UPDATED - Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor will be milling and repaving Catalina Highway from the west side of the intersection at Houghton Road to Milepost 0 at Mount Lemmon Short Road. Work will consist of milling, repaving and striping. Hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Feb 26, 2021 - The Pima County Department of Transportation will begin shoulder repair work on South Palo Verde Road between East Benson Highway and East Drexel Road on Monday, March 1 between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

Feb 24, 2021 - Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, will be milling and repaving Swan Rd from Sunrise Drive to Skyline Drive. Work will consist of milling, repaving and striping. Hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Feb 10, 2021 - Paving work begins Monday, February 15 thru February 26 at Skyline Drive and Sunrise Drive. Work hours will be from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily.  

Feb 09, 2021 - Work will begins from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Alvernon Way and Irvington Road. There will be lane restrictions for the north and south bound left turn lanes while work is taking place. Work will be completed in one day. 

Jan 13, 2021 - **UPDATE - The Pima County Department of Transportation will begin shoulder repair work on North Hacienda del Sol Road between River Road and Sunrise Drive beginning Wednesday, January 13 to Thursday, January 21. Motorists can expect reduced speed and rolling closures through the construction zone. Please slow down and approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work. 

Jan 13, 2021 - Pima County DOT along with its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving, will be shifting traffic on Sarasota Boulevard starting at Kinney Road for water line work on the Bopp Road Improvement Project. Motorists should expect minor delays during this work. Hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  

Nov 19, 2020 - Work includes reconstructing the King Canyon Trailhead parking lot area to accommodate 35 parking spaces and 2 parking spaces accommodating equestrian use. Work starts on Monday, November 23 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., 

Nov 16, 2020 - Pima County Department of Transportation crews will be replacing a cattle guard on Sahuarita Road between Houghton Road and Wentworth Road. 

Nov 16, 2020 - Pima County Department of Transportation crews will be replacing a portion of asphalt on San Xavier Road between I-19 and Little Nogales Road.  

Nov 13, 2020 - PCDOT has scheduled a street sweep along General Hitchcock Highway. Sweepers will be removing debris from the shoulders, bike lanes and pullouts. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. 

Nov 13, 2020 - PCDOT along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will be performing the crack seal treatment at 3 locations. Work will begin Monday November 16 and hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Nov 12, 2020 - PCDOT along with its contractor, Sunland Construction, will be performing road repair work on Sandario Road between Ajo Highway to Emigh Road. The work will consist of milling and repaving both lanes. Lane restrictions will be in place and traffic will be directed through the work zone by flaggers. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. 

Nov 12, 2020 - Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Granite Construction, will be performing road repair work on Sahuarita Road. The work will consist of milling and repaving both lanes, shoulder work, adjusting utilities, survey monuments and final striping once all work is completed. Minor delays will occur during this work. 

Nov 09, 2020 - Pima County Department of Transportation is addressing general maintenance work along General Hitchcock Highway to Tuesday, November 10. 

Nov 09, 2020 - Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, VSS International, Inc., will be performing a crack seal treatment at Alvernon Way, Camino Verde, and Anklam Road. Jun 19, 2020 - DOT work crews will be performing road repair work on Camino Verde from the north edge of Old Ajo Way to the south edge of Bopp Road. The work will consist of milling and repaving both lanes and restriping the roadway. During this work traffic will be set up as one way and motorists will be directed through the work zone by flaggers. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Jun 09, 2020 - On Wednesday, June 10, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation will be conducting traffic signal work at the intersection of Abrego Drive and Esperanza Boulevard in Green Valley. Advance warning signs and temporary stops signs will be in place while work is being performed.

Mar 16, 2020 - Pima County Transportation Signals and Lighting will be replacing the traffic signal controller cabinet at the intersection of N. Desert Bell Drive and N. La Canada Drive/W. La Canoa. During this work, the traffic signal will not be operating and both the northbound and southbound left lanes at this intersection will be closed. Sheriff Deputies will be on site to direct traffic through the intersection during the shutdown. 

Mar 13, 2020 - Road Repair work will be at 2 locations: Continental Rd, nighttime work will begin March 16 through April 16 from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., and for Abrego Dr day work will begin March 20 through April 16 from 7 a.m to 5 p.m. During this work, motorists will be piloted through the work zone area. Mar 02, 2020 - Granite Construction, Inc., under contract with Pima County Department of Transportation (PCDOT), will perform the work on Ina Rd in two sessions. Work will take place Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Work will continue on Tuesday, March 10 through Friday, March 13, during the nighttime hours of 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day. Final striping will occur at the end of March.
