    Aug 18, 2016 - Sample ballots will go to households that did not request and early ballot. 
     
    Jun 22, 2016 - Elections department needs approximately 2,000 poll workers for each election this fall. 
     
    Mar 31, 2016 - Canvass includes final count of all voted ballots, including early and provisionals. 
     
    Mar 23, 2016 - The Recorder's Office has started sending out approximately 495,000 new cards. 
     
    Nov 04, 2015 - Starting at 1 p.m. Nov. 4, Elections will count early, provisional and conditional ballots. 
     
    Oct 12, 2015 - Some early ballots have election items on both sides of the ballot 
     
    Dec 03, 2014 - Recounting should begin Dec. 4. The county has seven tabulation machines and should be able to count between 20,000 and 30,000 ballots a day. 
     
    Nov 18, 2014 - County official canvass certified by Board of Supervisors and sent to Secretary of State for state canvass.

    Nov 20, 2012 - The Pima County Board of Supervisors agreed Tuesday to seek out ways of improving election processes by the next election cycle. In addition to the many checks and balances that already exist, the Board unanimously agreed to ask its Elections Integrity Commission to review possible future alternatives that may increase confidence and efficiency in the election system. 
    Ballot Counting 
    Nov 16, 2012 - Pima County elections staff understands there is frustration about the length of the process and the fact there are not yet final answers on some outstanding races, but it is important to note some of the reasons for the delay and the way Pima County is working to ensure a secure election process.
