Pima County, Ariz. (May 10) – Work to repair the approach slabs to the cattle guard on Mission Road and Pima Mine Road has been postponed. The work has been rescheduled for Wednesday, June 22, and Thursday, June 23, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction, Co. will communicate any further changes as they occur.
Mission Road will be reduced to one lane of travel at Pima Mine Road, to provide access for crews to make repairs to improve the transition over the cattle guard.
Advance traffic warning signs will be set-up in both directions and flaggers will be on site, both days, to direct traffic. Motorists may experience minor delays. Drivers are reminded to proceed through the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.
In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
