    Flu Vaccine

    Most people in Pima County, even those without insurance, can get a FREE flu shot at our clinics, or use the flu finder below to find another provider near you.

    • Appointment and walk-in services are available at all clinics
    • Waiting times may vary
    • For days with high patient volume, registration of new patients may end 30-90 minutes early
    • Please bring immunization records, insurance or AHCCCS cards
    • There may be a fee for adult immunizations 

    International Travel Immunizations

    The Health Department no longer offers vaccinations for international travel. Please contact your primary care provider, Passport Health or Concentra, for services or questions.

    The Pima County Health Department is committed to reducing barriers to access health resources and basic needs. The link below will connect you and your family to a wide range of free services from PCHD.

    Child and Adolescent Immunizations

    The Pima County Health Department partners with health plans to assist us in recouping costs. YOU WILL NOT BE BILLED; however WE ASK THAT YOU BRING YOUR INSURANCE CARD TO EVERY VISIT TO OUR CLINICS. PCHD has partnered with the following commercial health plans and also accepts AHCCCS for some services:
    • Aetna
    • Ambetter
    • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona
    • Cigna
    • Humana
    • United Healthcare
    If your insurance is not accepted by PCHD, we ask that you consider going to your health care provider to get your child's vaccines before coming to the clinic. If your provider does not carry the necessary vaccines, PLEASE COME TO THE CLINIC, YOU WILL NOT BE TURNED AWAY.

    At this time we are unable to bill insurance companies for adult vaccines.

    Child and Adolescent Immunizations


    The following age classifications are used:
    Child Infant to 6 years of age
    Adolescent Age 7 to 18 years of age

    Health Department Child Immunizations

    • Recommended immunizations for infants and children (birth through 6 years old) - English | Spanish
    • Recommended immunizations (including HPV) for preteens and teens (7 through 18 years old) - English | Spanish

    Vaccination Fees Per Child

    There is no fee for children 18 years of age or less.
    Bring immunization records and insurance/AHCCCS cards for each child.
