Pima County welcomes the return of
El Tour Loop de Loop on Saturday, Sept. 25. The free event kicks off the
2021 El Tour de Tucson season and promotes the use of the
Chuck Huckelberry Loop, Pima County’s 137-mile system of paved pathways connecting destinations throughout the Tucson metro area.

Now in its fifth year, El Tour Loop de Loop features a morning welcome at Mercado Annex with free coffee, a ride on The Loop with friends and El Tour partners, and an after-party at
Mercado Annex with live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and door prizes.

- 6:30 – 8 a.m.: Free coffee at Mercado Annex
- 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Ride The Loop with El Tour partners and friends
- 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.: After-party at Mercado Annex
The event is an opportunity for cyclists to meet El Tour sponsors and charitable beneficiaries. Representatives from El Tour partners will be stationed at booths at both the Mercado Annex and the
Rillito Park Race Track. The booths will give out free raffle tickets for a chance to win door prizes at the after-party. The drawing will be held at 1 p.m. Participants must be present to win.
The after-party will feature live music from the band Badlands and a beer garden with
Ten55 Brewing Company’s exclusive “El Tour IPA.” Free coffee Saturday morning will be provided by
Filthy Pirate Coffee Co. In addition,
The Loop Store will be on site at the Mercado Annex with Loop jerseys, water bottles, hats, and more.
