    Pima County, Ariz. (Feb. 4) – On Wednesday, February 5, through Friday, February 7, 2014, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., the subcontractor for CenturyLink will be removing utilities at the intersections of Camino Verde and Valencia Road and Wade Road and Valencia Road in preparation for the Valencia Road Improvement Project.

    Traffic control and signage are in place and flagmen will be directing traffic through the work zone.

    Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.

    In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

    The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is the fiscal manager of the $2.1 billion plan approved by Pima County voters on May 16, 2006. The RTA Board is comprised of representatives from local jurisdictions in Pima County, including the cities of Tucson and South Tucson, Pima County, the towns of Marana, Oro Valley, and Sahuarita, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and the Tohono O’odham Nation.
