    Signals Replacement

On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Mountain Power, will be replacing the overhead guide signs 330 ft. north of the intersection on Alvernon Way.

The work will consist of removing the old lighting and service catwalk and installing the new signs. The new signs will be retro-reflective and will no longer need lighting.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane of travel for both the northbound and eastbound lanes.  Advance traffic warning signs will be set-up in all directions. Motorists can expect minor delays. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the maintenance schedule is subject to change.
