On
Monday, July 13 through Tuesday, August 10, 2020, between the hours of 6 a.m.
to 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with our contractor,
Borderland Construction, will be performing road repair work on Mission Road
from Helmet Peak Road to Twin Buttes Road.
The
work will consist of milling and repaving both lanes, shoulder work, adjusting
utilities and survey monuments, and final striping once all work is completed.
Traffic
will be directed through the work zone by flaggers and pilot car. Please
approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor
delays will occur during this work.
In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the
construction schedule is subject to change.
This
project is part of Pima County’s $56 million Road Repair Work Program for
fiscal year July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. For a complete listing of the
