The work consists of constructing a four lane arterial roadway with a raised median along the La Canada Drive alignment from the north side of River Road to the south side of Ina Road. The total length of La Canada Drive to be built under this project is approximately 2.7 miles, and includes reconstruction of the intersection with Orange Grove Road. The work includes earthwork; replacement, extension and/or installation of concrete box culverts, pipe culverts, and associated inlets, outlets and channel work (excavation, armoring); constructing a closed roadway pavement drainage system; furnishing and placing aggregate base and asphaltic concrete; constructing concrete curb, sidewalk, and public-use trail; noise and retaining walls; pavement markings; traffic signals; installing landscaping and irrigation; installation of artwork; and related incidental work. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages requirements apply.
