    Upcoming Weight Watchers at Work series

    Weight Watchers at Work is a proven program to help you navigate your weight-loss journey and achieve your goals. Join the next series and you will receive information on how the Smartpoints® system works, as well as tips, tools and support to help you along the way.

    Studies have shown that having support, like what you get in a Weight Watchers program, enhances self-control and self-esteem to provide motivation to accomplish weight loss goals.

    The next set of onsite series are scheduled to start at City Hall, 255 W. Alameda Street, 4 th Floor, West Conference Room.:

    • Thursdays, starting September 5, 2019 – November 21, 2019, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
    • Thursdays, starting December 5, 2019 – February 27, 2020 (no classes on November 28 th or December 26 th), from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

    The fee for each 12-week series is $156 and is payable to the facilitator in cash, credit or check. Earn 50 Healthy Lifestyle Activity Points and receive either an $80 Weight Watchers at Work gift certificate* to use towards a future series or a $75 Corporate Rewards gift card* when you attend 10 out of 12 consecutive meetings.

    Upcoming Wellness Workshops

    Employee Wellness in conjunction with local health and wellness providers are offering a variety of free and informative workshops that focus on nutrition, stress management, fitness, and healthy living and more.

    For a list of scheduled workshops for the month, please visit the Wellness Workshops webpage. Registration is not required unless otherwise noted. Walk-ins are welcome. Earn 10 Healthy Lifestyle Activity Points for attending.

    Per Administrative Procedure 23-30, employees are encouraged to attend Employee Benefits and Wellness programs, events and activities. Employees may be allowed to flex their time, where needed, and/or, at the discretion of their Appointing Authority, may be allowed up to a maximum of eight (8) BeWell hours of paid work time per fiscal year to attend these activities. Departments have the option of tracking BeWell hours in ADP.
