    Engineer/Contractor: Psomas / Borderland Construction

    The Pima County Department of Transportation is currently in the construction stage of  widening approximately 3 miles of Houghton Road, from the I-10 Interchange south to Andrada Polytechnic and Pantano High Schools.

    The project will reconstruct the current 2-lane roadway to a divided 4-lane section with two travel lanes in each directions, a separated multi-use path that will connect to The Loop, and drainage improvements.

    Construction is planned to begin in the second half of 2021. The project is being funded through local development impact fees.
