    Engineer/Contractor:  Kimley-Horn, Inc./Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co.
     


    The purpose of the Camino De La Tierra /Highway Dr /Curtis Rd project is to realign the centerline to accommodate paved shoulders through the project limits and increase super elevation at the two horizontal curves within the corridor. Local drainage patterns will be maintained. These features will enhance user safety.

    The proposed project would meet this purpose by: 
    • Centerline realignment
    • Curve correction to increase super elevation
    • Shoulder widening to add paved shoulders
    • Crack rehabilitation and sealing
    • Landscaping (vegetation removals where required)
    • Clean drainage channels
    • Obliterate existing pavement markings and apply a bituminous surface treatment
    • Apply new pavement markings
    • Reconstruct driveways
    • Perform minor utility relocations and adjustments.
