The Pima County Department of Transportation, the Regional Transportation Authority, and their contractor, Select Development & Construction, Inc., will begin work on the Homer Davis Transportation Enhancement Project on Thursday, June 27, 2013.

Starting Thursday, June 27, 2013, Select Development & Construction will be shifting traffic on Romero Road from Roger Road to Wetmore Road to the west side (southbound) of the roadway. This shift is necessary so that crews can begin pulverizing the east side (northbound) of Romero Road in preparation for the new roadway. This shift is expected to be in place for two months.

Motorists may experience minor delays. The Pima County Department of Transportation reminds motorists to obey traffic control signs and speed limits through the construction zone.

For more information, contact Annabelle Valenzuela, Program Manager, at (520) 724-6410 or visit the project website at http://www.pima.gov/roadprojects/homerdavisflowingwells2013/.
