Test

testKnowing your HIV status is important for your health, as well as the health of your partners. The only way to know if you have HIV is to get tested for it. Below are some resources to help you do just that!

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), everyone between the ages of 13-64 years old should get tested at least once in their lifetime, but people with certain risk factors need testing more often. To find out how often you should get tested, click here

There are a variety of tests that can detect HIV. Some tests can determine if you have HIV just a few weeks after an infection has begun, while others can not detect it until the virus has been present for a longer period of time. To find out what test is best for you: check with HIVAZ or Avert
