  • Pavement repairs at Thornydale and Magee, April 26-28

    potholesBeginning Wednesday, April 26 through Friday, April 28, the Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, VSS International, will mill and patch potholes at the intersection of Thornydale Road and Magee Road. The following is the anticipated work schedule:

    Wednesday, April 26 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the contractor will mill portions of the roadway.

    Thursday, April 27 to Friday, April 28 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the contractor will patch the milled portions in preparation to micro seal the roadway at a future date.

    Motorists can expect lane restrictions and reduced speed. Sheriff’s officers and flaggers will assist through the work zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work. In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

    This project is part of the Pavement Preservation Program for the fiscal year of July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. For a complete listing of the Pavement Preservation Projects please visit DOT's webpage
