Dear Interested Party:
Thank you for your interest in the Pima County Department of Transportation Adopt-a-Roadway program.
Any group wishing to participate in the program is asked to make a two year commitment, adopt a two mile stretch of roadway and perform at least two clean-ups per year. Your road selection must be within unincorporated Pima County and must be approved by the Department of Transportation. The Department reserves the right to refuse the selection of any road. In recognition of your group’s commitment to the program, two Adopt-A-Roadway signs will be erected acknowledging your organization’s participation.
Someone from Adopt-A-Roadway will be in contact with you to discuss requirements and selecting a roadway to adopt. After selecting a site, a representative from your group will be required to attend a safety training session at our office located at 201 N Stone Avenue.
Your participation can be a significant contribution to the beautification of your community.
Warmest Regards,
Community Relations Division
