The green building program provides information on energy efficient, water efficient healthier homes.

Pima County/City of Tucson Net-Zero Energy Building Standard

The net-zero energy standard provides information and tools to design a building that makes as much energy as it needs over the course of year. Research shows that a net-zero energy home is more affordable than a conventional home when you combine and compare the mortgage and utility bills for a net-zero home with the mortgage and utility bills for a conventional home.
