    Aug 21, 2017 - The Pima County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution calling on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to continue adhering to the 2015 Clean Water Rule which clarified water resource management in the United States under a provision of the Clean Water Act of 1972.

    Feb 20, 2013 - Pima County has been awarded the highest form of recognition granted by a national association of finance and budget experts. For the 15th consecutive year, Pima County received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association. 
     
    Jan 29, 2013 - Voters can rest assured that Pima County’s bond proceeds have not only been spent on projects that voters authorized, but have been administered without bias for the benefit of citizens throughout the County. The state Office of the Auditor General released its findings on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the conclusion of a legislative-ordered forensic audit of the Pima County bond program, focusing on the general obligation bond programs. 
     
    Jan 16, 2013 - Pima County received an A-minus on an open government measurement conducted by Sunshine Review, a nonprofit dedicated to government transparency. The score was the highest issued for counties in the state of Arizona. Only Pinal County scored as high on a 10-point checklist that evaluates the scope of online information provided to citizens.
