    Join us for the upcoming BeWell Annual Enrollment Fairs

    April 23rd – May 17th ~  View BeWell Fair Schedule

    Human Resources staff and representatives from the various plans will be available at the following BeWell fairs to answer questions and provide information.

    Annual enrollment will run April 30, 2018 to May 18, 2018 and is the only time that you may make changes to your benefits without a qualifying family status event. In addition, you can:

    · Certify your tobacco-free status
    · Update beneficiary and personal contact information

    Here are some of the highlights for Fiscal Year 2018/19 employee benefits:

    Medical Plans

    Lower cost for most tiers.

    NEW Pharmacy Vendor

    CVS will be our new Pharmacy provider. Members will continue to have full access to all in-network pharmacies for their prescription needs.

    When you call in, press “2” for “New Member”. Please indicate you are a Pima County employee.

    Dental Plans

    Pima County Dental benefits have been enhanced with no increase in premium. Preventive exams will be covered at 100% when using in-network providers and services relating to implants will be covered at the 50% coinsurance level.

    Health Savings Account (HSA)

    Pima County HSA contribution amounts will remain at the same level but beginning in July 2018, County HSA funding will occur on a prorated bi-weekly basis.

    Life Insurance

    Guaranteed Issue during Annual Enrollment to increase 1X annual salary for Supplemental Life without Evidence of Insurability (EOI)  providing you have not been previously denied.

    Employees may now elect up to 8x annual salary in Supplemental Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage, to a max of $1,000,000.

    Spouse coverage maximum has increased to $100,000 in supplemental coverage.

    Deferred Compensation

    All existing Pima County deferred compensation 457(b) accounts will transfer to a new plan, administered by Nationwide in partnership with Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).

    To enroll, cancel or make benefit changes, use the online Employee Self Service (ESS) portal.

    Changes will be effective July 1, 2018 and will be reflected in the July 13, 2018 paycheck.
