Classes/Programs

childrenLil’ Reckers

This 6 week program is offered in 4 different sessions throughout the school year, for children ages 3-5 years who are toilet trained. A variety of classes are offered which include activities such as arts and crafts, music, story time, nutrition education, early learning skills, socialization, sports skills, active games, science, and much more. Parent must accompany the child and remain on premises during the entire program. Additional parent programming may be available. Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation facilities are not licensed childcare facilities under section 36-882 of A.R.S. The school-age youth programs are “at will” drop in programs and youth enrolled in the programs may come and go of their own volition.

The after-school program is for children ages 5-12. 5-year-olds must be enrolled in elementary school. Activities include homework help, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, and more. The program is free except for some special events. Please contact the community center for more information or for dates and times check our online registration.

Summer Recreation Program

The summer recreation program offered June and July, is for children entering 1st through 6th grade in the 2019/2020 school year. Activities include indoor and outdoor recreation, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, guest speakers, field trips, environmental education and more. The program is free except for some special events. Please contact the community center for more information or for dates and times check our online registration.

Wednesday and Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Meetings: Second Friday each month, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Teen program offers billiards, ping pong, video gaming, and archery. The teen program goes on trip occasionally during the school year.
Fee: Free except for some special events.

Senior Program

Seniors, ages 50+
September - April
Meetings: first Tuesday each month, 10:30 a.m.
Activities include cards, billiards, arts and crafts, field trips, and special events.
On-going program.
Fee: Free, except for some special events.

Aerobic Fitness Program

Littletown BeFit with Aerobics “6”
Come sweat and workout your body for 6 weeks of H.I.I.T, Dance and Circuit workouts with challenging athletic styles; Includes a 30 minute high energy segment of all types of latin & hip hop moves and dances. This class alternates strength-training exercises utilizing weighted balls, steps, dumbbells, etc. with aerobic activities. Space is limited; please call community center for details. Slow & Go Aerobics Class
This 6-week low to moderate level exercise class taught by a certified fitness instructor. Includes a 30 minutes no/low impact aerobics segment, stretches, and structured strength-training exercises using weights. Classes include sitting and standing.
