Phi Delt Puppies eventPima Animal Care Center has once again partnered with the University of Arizona’s Phi Delta Theta fraternity to host “Phi Delt Puppies” on Dec. 3. This all-ages charity event will promote volunteering at, donating to and fostering for PACC.

Join the fun and support PACC’s pets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Phi Delta Theta Chapter House, 1745 E. Second Street. There’s a $5 admission fee, which includes food and snuggle time with PACC’s pets. In addition, the fraternity will raise funds for PACC by selling $15 event t-shirts online and onsite. Those who purchase a shirt will not pay a separate admission fee.

At the inaugural event last year, the fraternity raised $10,000, which included a matching grant from PACC’s nonprofit partner, the Friends of PACC, and they adopted out ten puppies and kittens.

“We are looking forward to our continued relationship with PACC and promoting animal welfare and education within the Tucson community," said Charles Block, Phi Delta Theta chapter officer.

During the event, PACC will have shelter staff available to answer questions and provide more information on how to get involved with PACC. They also plan to take several dogs, cats, puppies or kittens ready for same-day adoption to qualified families.
