Home Ownership Fair June 25Pima County homeowners and first-time homebuyers can find all the information they need to attain or maintain the American Dream of home ownership at a Home Ownership Fair on Saturday, June 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Center, at the Pima County Housing Center, 801 W. Congress.

Non-profit agencies, Realtors, lenders, and other housing professionals will be on hand to provide insight on the whole process – from the first credit check to the last mortgage payment – everything residents need to buy a home or to keep the one they have.  “For more than 30 years, Pima County has partnered with local housing agencies to promote affordable homeownership for working families and individuals,” said Pima County Supervisor Richard Elías. “This event demonstrates our commitment to homeownership, which builds strong and vibrant neighborhoods, and families.”

The Housing Center's mission is to provide all Pima County residents with access to the resources and support they need to find quality affordable housing. With that in mind, workshops will cover topics including budgeting and credit repair while exhibitors show off the latest in recycling technology and energy-saving techniques.

Kids can meet Pima County’s McGruff the Crime Dog and Tucson Water’s Pete the Beak and parents can enter our prize drawing. Refreshments will be available. Admission is free. Parking is available at the Center.
