Solar Calculators for Contractors Installing in Pima County

Pima County developed a Solar Calculator spreadsheet for use primarily by licensed solar installers.  The calculator provides a method of plan submittal and review that will expedite the permitting process by standardizing the configuration and providing a mechanism that incorporates both the submittal and plan review.

With the proper inputs, the calculator provides an electrical diagram that will meet codes and requirements for your permit. The standardized format and pre-approved calculations reduce application errors and save review time.  There is also a PV roof uplift calculator.

Go to Pima County Building and Site Development and click on Solar and Wind to select one of the following calculators.
